The Youth Action Center for Community Development concluded its first winter camp, which was titled Investment in RightsHuman coordinationCooperation with the Pioneer Center for Culture and Arts, over four consecutive days with the participation of about 50 participants and participants from Bethlehem governorate and under the supervision of a team of trainers and supervisors of the events and activities of the first winter camp.The camp began with a training session in the centre, to break down the ice between participants and introduce them to the goals of the winter camp in addition to a range of communication exercises and mechanisms of work within the team Through the division of working groups and a presentation of the camp program, led by Professor Nizar Al-IssaOn the second day of the program, the participants went to the village of Al-Walajeh on field visits, and the first stop was the 5,500-year-old Bedouin tree ( olive tree ) visits and And the meeting with Mr. Salah Abu Ali, who explained how important this tree is, as well as the suffering of farmers through the apartheid wall that is located on farmers’ land, and then the participants went to omar Hajjala’s house, which is located inside the apartheid wall, and the audience listened to a detailed explanation of the suffering of the Hajjala family daily and the living reality of the family.After that, the director of the Palestinian Authority for Human Rights was met. lawyer Farid Al-Atrash also gave the legal opinion on the suffering of the people of the village of Al-Walajah and the attack that is constantly being practised rightly The people of the village of Al-Walaja.
